SHREDDING BARRIERS SINCE ’97

Lasting Change, Led By Youth

Our purpose has always been to lift up youth.

Beyond meeting their basic needs, we work alongside youth to give them power in their lives and in our community.

“The people make Zero Ceiling what it is. The support they give me is the best part of the program. Whatever I want to do, they’re willing to help me as best they can.”

We’re Building The Community We Want To Live In

A community where youth are treated with dignity and respect, where they have the freedom to make their own choices and shape their futures. A community where we all take care of each other.

We’re Recruiting Elders for our Auntie or Uncle Program!

We are excited and honoured to invite an Elder to join our team as part of our Auntie/Uncle program. This paid role is centered on supporting youth through guidance, cultural connection, and shared knowledge, helping create a space of care, trust, and belonging.

The Auntie/Uncle helps to connect our Indigenous participants with culture and knowledge. They will be excited to listen and consult with youth to learn about their needs and desires and will honour their voices in making decisions. We are interested in learning through story, art, ceremony and ask our Auntie/Uncle to share knowledge, teachings, and ceremony that ground us in local traditions.
